Scuba Dive KZN is run by experienced PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Fin Vaisseaux. After years of teaching people to dive, all over the world, Fin has returned to his home town Durban. He introduces people to scuba diving, and deepens their marine awareness, in this most rich and diverse of seas – the Indian Ocean.

If you would like to learn to dive, or to take your diving to new levels, the KZN coastline is where it’s at. The colder, temperate seas from the Cape meet the tropical Mozambican currents in the vicinity of Umkomaas. This is why Aliwal Shoal is on the list of Top Ten Dive Sites in the World. In a word, we have BIODIVERSITY. Lots of it!

Diving Courses

Fin Vaisseaux can offer you a full range of PADI dive courses. Courses are run professionally and passionately, with your comfort and ability taken into account. Your safety is the top priority. Scheduling is FLEXIBLE! There is also a huge emphasis on marine education, respect for the natural environment, appreciating our impact on the underwater world, and gaining confidence in our interaction with marine life.

Scuba equipment included in the courses is of highest quality and is serviced regularly. Our boats are driven by experienced skippers and are well maintained. All PADI course materials are provided. PADI courses are run professionally, and your certifications are processed online, which means you will receive your card immediately upon course completion. The minimum age for most courses is 10 or 12 years old.
